‘Strong’ Attendance Reflects Industry Optimism, DCW Officials Say

LAS VEGAS — Approximately 90,000 home-building professionals – including kitchen and bath dealers, designers, remodelers, architects and other key specifiers – filled the exhibit halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center for last month’s 2020 Design & Construction Week (DCW), an annual event that combines the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show with the International Builders’ Show, sponsors of the event reported.

According to show officials, the Jan. 21-23 DCW featured more than 2,000 exhibitors occupying more than one million sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor exhibit space. In addition to meeting suppliers and seeing product demonstrations throughout the three-day show, attendees networked with peers and attended any of more than 140 education sessions on a wide range of industry topics.

“The strong attendance at this year’s show reflects the positive outlook for the home-building industry and the enthusiasm our attendees have for the future,” said Geoff Cassidy, senior v.p./exhibitions and meetings for IBS’ owner, the National Association of Home Builders.

KBIS is owned by the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA).

Next year’s Design & Construction Week is scheduled for Feb. 9-11, 2021 in Orlando.
