KBIS Day Two: Rocking Technology

Day two of the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show kicked off with a host of educational seminars focusing on technology, from Paula Kennedy’s “Tech, Meet My Parents, Smart Kitchens and Baths Aid Independent Living” and Stephanie Bullwinkel’s “Your Web Site is Not Your Marketing Plan” to Shaun Ayala’s “How to Design for the Smart Kitchen and Bathroom” and Vanessa DeKoekkoek’s “Building Your Technology Toolkit.”

Technology was equally evident on the show floor with a host of smart appliances, from ranges that incorporate induction, steam and air fry capabilities and temperature-adjustable refrigerators that minimize waste and save energy to wifi-enabled wine refrigerators that help homeowners manage their collections and even a state-of-the-art cooling unit that features a self-watering vegetable growing unit.

Technology was also evident in advances in surfacing materials, hardware, lighting and more. The possibilities are endless as the kitchen and bath of the future starts to take shape right now!

Below are a sampling of some of the new products on display at this year’s KBIS.
